    General Manager

    Born and raised on a farm in Iowa, Randy brings over 20 years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry. The transition to Bon Appétit was a great transition and renewed his passion for bringing people together around local and sustainable food. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, gardening, hiking with his dogs, skiing and traveling.

    Executive Chef

    Ed began his career with Bon Appétit in 1990, working in Oregon then moving to Colorado Springs. He really enjoys being creative and sharing his knowledge with other chefs and cooks. In his spare time, he continues his creativity by making artistic pieces including woodwork, glass work, old automobiles, motorcycles and working in his yard.

  • Austin Kumm
    Director of Operations

    After spending 15 years in Oregon, Austin has relocated to Colorado joining the Bon Appétit at Colorado College. He recently worked for a certified bio-dynamic winery where his passion for sustainability and supporting local vendors was cultivated. He enjoys creating memorable food and dining experiences and says, “the Bon Appétit culture spoke to me.” In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two young sons, DIY projects around the house and as many golf rounds he can get in.

    Executive Sous Chef

    John started his culinary career at the age of 16 working in fast food and watching the Galloping Gourmet with his grandmother, testing out what was prepared on the show in her well stocked kitchen. While in the Marine Corps he cooked in California and Okinawa Japan. After his service, he traveled around cooking in Texas, Louisiana, California, Washington, Oregon and the Southern Coast of Italy.

    He received his culinary degree from Western Culinary in 1988. In 1997, he joined the Bon Appétit family for the sustainable food practices, fresh flavorful meals prepared from scratch and the culture of safe kitchen practices.

  • Jackie Lovecchio
    Sous Chef

    Jackie Lovecchio obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Systems, and an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Pennsylvania College of Technology. She has been with Bon Appétit Management Company for 4 years and was drawn to Bon Appétit because of the local food initiatives and focus on sustainable practices. She began her career as a Retail Chef for Savannah College of Art and Design, in Savannah, Georgia and then moved to Colorado Springs as a Sous Chef at Colorado College. This allows her copious amounts of creative freedom and the ability to grow in her trade. Outside of the kitchen, her time is well spent with her husband, two cats, practicing yoga, reading, and keeping in close contact with her Big Fat Italian Family.

    Sous Chef

    Matthew has worked for Bon Appétit at Colorado College for 6 1/2 years. He loves the freedom he has as a Sous Chef being able to be creative and showcase his talents. When he is not at work, you can find him either near any body of water with fish or cheering on the Red Sox. If you are in Colorado, stop by Colorado College for what he hears are some pretty outstanding ribs!

    Catering Director

    A native Texan who moved to the Rocky Mountains to join the Bon Appétit team at Colorado College. With over 15 years of hospitality and catering sales experience, she has planned, coordinated, and executed events from small exclusive dinners to large scale events for Fortune 500 companies and many unforgettable weddings. Her passion for exceeding her client’s expectations continues to challenge her to think “outside the box” and she is enthusiastic about sharing with her new Colorado College family. Christi believes there is a solution to every question, it just takes creativity!

    Catering Manager

    Maura joined the Bon Appétit Colorado College team in 2011. With over 25 years in the catering industry, she is happy to finally be a part of a company that supports her philosophy, encourages socially responsible, sustainable food service practices and promotes creativity. She is a Michigan girl in a Colorado lifestyle. When she is not working she enjoys exploring the mountains, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
